At the end of the course, the students will have improved their skills in speaking, writing and reading English.
The course English as a Second Language (ESL) programs will help learners improve their ability to speak, listen, read, and write in English so that they can enrich their participation in their communities. Students are from all over the world and at all ability levels, attending classes both in the downtown location and at partner sites through other community-based organizations around the city.
The curriculum for these programs is tailored to specific learner needs and includes civics based instruction so students can increase access to daily needs that include the library, post office, and their own children’s education, among others.
