Description

This intermediate-level drawing course builds directly on foundational skills learned in Drawing 101, guiding students to higher levels of artistic proficiency. Throughout this course, students refine their abilities in measuring, sketching, and shading techniques while working with progressively more challenging subject matter. The curriculum includes drawing from actual still life setups, working with tinted papers, and utilizing larger formats to develop confidence and skill development.

This course is ideal for artists who are committed to advancing their drawing abilities and developing a more sophisticated visual vocabulary and technical foundation.

Please Note: This is not a "copy-the-teacher" format in which all students create identical images.

The Wednesday 3:30 PM in-studio class is an after-school program for school-age children.

Prerequisites: Drawing with Graphite 101 or the equivalent level of drawing experience and foundational skills.

Refund Policy

Tuition is not refundable.

When rescheduling a class a 3 business days notice in advance of the class is required or the class is forfeited.

The make-up class must be attended within the 30 days. A make-up cannot be rescheduled once booked.

No make-ups are given for no-shows or if you forget to come to class.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
