Description

How many roles have slipped past you because of an accent that “wasn’t quite right”? Casting notices may not say it out loud, but actors without a convincing American accent are often cut before they even audition. This four-week intensive zeroes in on articulation, clarity, and placement of sound to help you master one of the trickiest accents for international actors. You’ll leave with practical skills, professional feedback, and a polished self-tape that proves you can book American roles. Don’t keep hoping your ear will “pick it up eventually”—fix it now and expand the roles available to you.

What to Bring:

  • A water bottle, notebook, and any audition sides or monologues you’d like to test in an American accent.

Refund Policy

Refund and Withdrawal Policy

Adult Intensives: Withdrawal 14 days or more prior to the start of class: 75% refund. Withdrawal 7–13 days before start: 50% refund. Withdrawal fewer than 7 days before start: No refund. No refunds are given once a class has started.

Teen Intensives: Withdrawal 14 days or more before the start of a session: 75% refund. Withdrawal 1–13 days before: 50% refund. No refunds are available after the first class. If a student is dismissed for disciplinary reasons, no refund will be issued.

Cancellations by Provider

LACAE reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any workshop or class due to low enrollment, instructor illness, or unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation, participants may: Receive a full refund, or Apply the credit toward another LACAE offering within one year.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
