Study with us and learn to create a confident drawing with visual expression.

In one session, learn how to streamline your portrait drawing process through the fundamentals of structure and artful abbreviation, focusing on what the essentials are to capturing likeness and character.

Students of all levels are welcome to practice based on their interests and needs.

Materials:

Traditional: Please bring a pad up to 18×24, a 2H, HB, 4B pencil, and an eraser.

Important Information

The doors to our events open 15 minutes before each session. If you arrive before then, there is no room to wait inside the building, so please plan accordingly. The doorman will direct you to the classroom.

This event occurs on the third floor of a building without an elevator. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the monitor.

There is no photography when the model is posing.

Refund Policy

No refund unless the school cancels the class.

No refund or credit for missed sessions (No Exceptions).

No credits unless notified 48 hours ahead of the class.

We do honor change-of-date requests for in-person sketch classes with at least 5 business days' notice and for workshops with 8 business days' notice.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

It was so great! I am so happy I attended and look forward to other art classes offered on CourseHorse. The teacher, Allison, couldn't have been more knowledgeable and supportive and Simon and his assistant, Michael, were wonderful as well.
