We are so excited to bring the art studio to our youngest after school artists ONSITE in their own school buildings! Art After School AT School features projects based on books and works of art, with plenty of materials and sensory exploration of built in.
Young artists collaborate and make their own work, and have "open studio" time to experiment with materials of their choosing. Class fees include all materials and a sketchbook to keep. Teaching artists send out class descriptions before each session, and a recap (with plenty of photos!) after each class. Groups are capped at twelve students, and there is at least one teacher for every six students for lots of one-on-one attention.
Notes
**Important Covid Registration and Participation Policies**
1. Courses are subject to minimum enrollment; if enrollment is not met 48 hours before the first class, the session will be cancelled. You will have the option to have the fee fully refunded, or applied toward a different session. If you must cancel your enrollment, you will receive a refund (minus 25% deposit) if arrangements are made at least two weeks before the first class. We cannot refund class fees once the series has begun.
2. Classes require a commitment to the entire series. Should New York City non-essential businesses be ordered closed at any time, all classes will be transferred online. Should other circumstances arise which Eckford Street Studio determines create an unsafe environment for in person classes, we reserve the right to transfer programming online at any time. In the event classes must be transferred online, we are not able to offer credit or refunds. We are unable to offer make up classes during this time.
3. At the beginning of each class, all participants are required to submit a temperature check and answer a series of questions verifying they are not exhibiting symptoms of and have not been exposed to COVID-19. Masks are required for all participants at all times.
What you'll learn
If you must cancel your enrollment:
One-day classes are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Courses are subject to minimum enrollment; if enrollment is not met by 24 hours before the first class, the session will be canceled. You will have the option to have the fee refunded less a 5% non-refundable registration fee, or applied toward a later session.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
