Class Description

Description

This workshop explores paranormal phenomena associated with dying and grief. The presentation considers a variety of phenomena—including terminal lucidity, near-death experiences, nearing-death experiences, premonitions of death, transpersonal end-of-life experiences, and extraordinary experiences.

While respectful of such occurrences, we discuss counseling implications and connections to current theory. At the conclusion of this workshop, participants will be able to describe phenomena around death and dying, consider the ways in which particular phenomena may influence grief and loss, and discuss ways that counselors can deal with such phenomena.

Glad ur asking. Class started 20 minutes late. Then announced we Must end on time. The speaker at the start asked the class that was there before us if there was any unfinished business from the class before. Thank god no one replied as that would of taken more time away from the 1:30 class Now about the speaker Ken....he told so many stories relating to his family that dragged on forever. Didn’t feel he stuck to the subject and there was toooo much Info piled into 3 hours which was 2-1/2 Hours and with his personal stories everything else was rushed through
