This guitar class is designed to broaden your playing abilities, deepen your musical understanding, and sharpen your technical skills. Throughout the sessions, you will work on riffs, licks, diatonic chord theory, and a range of other techniques that will prepare you to advance into barre chords, lead guitar playing, and more advanced musical territory. Whether you are looking to strengthen your rhythm playing or begin exploring melodic lead work, this course provides the foundation you need to move forward with confidence.
To make sure you are signing up for the right level, we recommend playing along with the class graduation videos. If you can comfortably follow along with the graduation video from the previous level but find the graduation video for this class challenging, then this is the perfect fit for you. This self-assessment approach helps ensure that every student is placed where they will learn the most and feel both challenged and supported.
Before attending your first session, take some time to practice with the warm-up video that is used at the start of every class. There are 9 warm-up videos organized by level, so be sure to choose the one that corresponds to this course. You do not need to master everything right away; the goal is to become familiar with the exercises and get comfortable with the routine. For the best results, we also recommend using this warm-up video as part of your regular practice routine at home.
Once you feel ready and are able to pass the graduation video for this level, you can move on to the next class in our progressive guitar series!
