In this course, you will expand your chord playing across the full fretboard, learning both sharps and flats with E form major, minor, and seventh chord variations. Simultaneously, you will develop sophisticated and expressive rhythm techniques using fretting hand damping and syncopated strumming patterns.
To determine if you are ready for this level, practice playing along with the class graduation videos. If you can play smoothly with the previous graduation video but struggle with this class's graduation video, you have found your appropriate level.
Before your first session, use the warm-up video that you will perform at the start of every class. There are nine different warm-ups to choose from, so select the one matching your skill level. Do not worry if you cannot fully understand or execute everything immediately; the goal is to become familiar with the material. Note that using this video as a regular warm-up during your personal practice sessions will maximize your learning progress.
Once you successfully complete the graduation video, explore our next course in this series.
