The summer heat can take a toll on our skin and bodies, learn how to make amazing organic skincare products in this class in NYC! As the weather heats up, make sure your skin is looking its absolute best from head to toe, and your body will thank you!
In this class in NYC, you will make four fabulous face products. You will also receive a valuable supplier list and take home full-size products made together as a class! These are ready-to-go formulas that you can add to your skincare line or make at home for yourself and share with others.
You will learn tips on keeping your skin cool during sweltering days and protecting against sun damage. Your experienced instructor will discuss the best ingredients to use to keep skin looking and feeling its best, especially how to hydrate, brighten and heal.
By the end of class, you will have the knowledge and understanding of how to formulate a variety of skincare products (water-based and oil-based) for various skin types and ethnicities. These products are intended for all skin types. You will make these products from scratch and learn how to tweak the formula for extra dry and oily skin types as well as tweaking the formulas to address other concerns.
Whether you are looking to take better care of your skin, want to improve your own skincare business, or are just looking for creative things to do in NYC, this class is the rejuvenating class you need! Join for a little bit of relaxation and self-care!
Students will make and take home four organic skincare products that cleanse and renew:
This is intended for aromatherapists, massage therapists, spa owners, handmade soap and indie beauty entrepreneurs and for anyone who wants to make incredibly good-for-your-body products. No prior experience is necessary.
This class is open to beginners through advanced beauty makers. Students will receive a class handout that includes instructions, formulas and a valuable list of Marla's favorite places to buy materials, supplies and equipment.
If for some reason our class is cancelled (this has only been due to major snowstorms), we will promptly refund your registration in its entirety.
