Description

This skin care & make-up lesson workshop is designed for women seeking to improve their own signature look and feel confident. Discover what it takes to achieve healthy glowing skin and how to properly care for it without stripping or irritating ingredients. Learn wearable makeup techniques that will flatter your natural features without looking overly made-up.

We will teach you step-by-step skin care and makeup application from beginning to end with the products you already have. Update your old routine by learning new techniques that will take your look to the next level. Here are some of the topics we will cover & more:


Skin Segment:
  • How to shop for Skin Care Products for your skin type.
  • Cleansing & Exfoliating techniques 
  • Top five skin damaging practices
  • AM vs. PM skin care—What's the difference? 
  • Moisturizers and Serums
Makeup Segment: 
  • Foundation Selection—Which Formula should you use? 
  • Eye Shadow Techniques—Texture & color placement. 
  • Highlight and Contour for the everyday woman. 
  • Brow Definition—How to get it right. 
  • Lips—Matte or Glossy? 
What you will need: Your Beauty Bag (Current Makeup & Skin Products that you are using). Here are the products that should be in your bag:
  • Cleanser & Exfoliator 
  • Foundation & Powder
  • Brushes
  • Eye Shadows, Eyeliner, Eyebrow Pencil & Mascara. 
  • Blush & Lipstick 
  • Whatever else you use for your makeup application. 
If you do not have everything don't worry, bring what you have and you can borrow from our personal kit.This is a hands-on class be prepared to learn, have fun, meet new people and feel beautiful.

This ticket includes one Free 20-minute skype session. During this time, Efia will answer any makeup or skin care questions that you did not get to ask during your class time.

Note: Please Arrive at 5:30pm. We will be starting on time to get the most out of the class. Thank you for your cooperation.

The General Admission Price has a Non-refundable fee of $75.

Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued after registration and payment. Anyone canceling 1 week prior to the class date will be given full credit towards any future classes within 12 months from the date of the registered class. If enrollment goals are not met, a course may be cancelled up to 48 hours before the scheduled class. In the event of cancellation, a full refund or credit is granted.

  • Makeup & Skin Care for Beginners

    Wow! I loved loved loved this course! It took me step by step in how to properly cleanse my face and apply makeup for the perfect night out. We even had a little time to do a day-transition- to- happy hour look on the eyes! It was great that it was hands on, because techniques like filling in my brows, I usually end up channeling the spirit of Joan Crawford. The class was jam packed with useful info, and I was able to remember it and apply a few weeks later when I was going to a formal birthday party! Also, as a side note, the snacks were great with the wine, it felt like an adult sleepover! The location was super convenient in USQ. I can't wait to get my girls together and do this again for a bachelorette or birthday or other night out event!! Thanks Efia!!!

  • Makeup & Skin Care for Beginners

    I didn't know what to expect.. well actually, I didn't know how much more I could expect from a makeup class... the usual put eyeshadow here and conceal there. But it turned out to be more informative than I expected! I expected to hear aboutl "the beat" and I got a plethora of information on skin care. Truth be told, if your skin isn't good then your makeup application is pointless! I was especially excited about the take home goodies and free wine and cheese. The whole ensemble was very inviting. Did I mention it was in a huge, super accessible loft in Union Square. I would definetly take this class again with my girlfriends :-)
