My mom and I had so much fun in the class! We ended up making a pouch and now we use it for our travels. Ingvild is a very patient teacher and we’re so happy we took her class.

I came to the Alterations private class with the intention of really understanding how to alter clothes so they actually fit me. For many years I've worn oversized tops, boxy shirts, and so forth. This was an ambitious venture for me: how to keep my beloved garments but update them to my actual (slim) measurements. I found Ingvild a very reassuring person. In fact, she had such a reassuring presence that I was able to discuss frankly the aspects of my figure I wanted to de-emphasize. I came home excited about the various ways I can remake the garments I already own. I am pleased that I signed up for time with her.

Very useful class! Ingvild was lovely and I liked the way she set up the class, having me bring in a couple items and work on them together while explaining everything and giving me instructions for continuing.

I’ve taken sewing classes with 10+ students and I much prefer the private classes, as I can get all my questions answered without waiting. Ingvild is patient and encouraging. I was able to finish the pouch in 1.5 hours, working at a leisurely pace.

really enjoyed the class with Ingvild. This was my first time painting since middle school and I wanted a class that would help me understand the basics of painting. Ingvild is a great teacher. I also a blast meeting other students in the class. Highly recommend for both beginners like myself and more advanced students as the Vedic Art Method has different steps depending on the students experience

It was a great class! I felt guided and comfortable enough to take on the challenges. I felt the teacher had a good vision for the class and it was not overwhelming.

The one on one class with Ingvild was so amazing. I really had a great time learning how to create this tote. Ingvild has such amazing energy and answered all of my questions. She really loves what she does and it shines through in all aspects of her teaching. I would love to go back and take another class with her and I would recommend this class to everyone!

The instructor was patient and engaging. I gained new skills and walked away with a finished bag.
