About Christine Axen
I am a New York-based professor and museum guide with a PhD in medieval history, and it is my lifelong mission to share the wonderful world of the Middle Ages with anyone who will listen--especially over a glass of rosé!
From illuminated manuscripts to heresy trials to banquet cuisine, each week in History Happy Hour I love touring through medieval culture and sharing it with you!

Love it but she could have talked a little slower and would have liked to have had the images identified as to country, book and even perhaps where that book is located. -

Great amount of information for a one hour format - thorough without being overwhelming and good amount of time left for Q&A. The instructor's passion for the topic shines through. Wish I had been able to sign up for more installments in the series!! -
