Description

Got an old chair or stool that's in good shape but has a broken seat? In this class you can bring it back to useful life by learning the basic weaving pattern called fiber rush weave. You'll make a sturdy, long-lasting—and comfortable!—seat of rush weave using an all natural, paper-based fiber rush. Your instructor will show you how to make tight, square corners, and perfect a figure eight weaving pattern.

You'll leave not only with a beautiful new hand-woven seat that will last for generations, but also knowing how to repair chairs in the future, or the rest of a set of chairs.

Refund Policy

Full refunds less a 5% processing fee will be offered for cancellations that occur 32 days or more before a program's registration deadline (if no deadline, the first day of the program).
Cancellations between 31 and 9 days will be offered a 50% refund or credit toward another class.
Cancellations after the registration deadline or within 8 days of the first day of class (whichever comes first) will not be refunded.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
