Stained Glass 3D Flower

Learn to make a 3D stained glass flower using the copper foil method! Students will pick from a wide selection of pre-fab stained glass petals and leaves to make their own personalized sculptural piece. Students will adhere their flower together with copper foil and solder and mount it on a copper wire stem to finalize their piece.

Core Learning Objectives:

• Master the copper foil method for creating three-dimensional stained glass artwork

• Develop skills in selecting, coordinating, and assembling pre-fabricated glass components into a unified flower design

• Learn proper soldering techniques to permanently join copper foil-wrapped glass pieces

• Complete your flower by mounting it securely on a copper wire stem to finish the sculpture

Materials Provided:

• We supply everything you need for this project, including all pre-fabricated stained glass petals and leaves, copper foil tape, solder, and copper wire stem material

Important Course Information:

• During this class, each participant will complete one finished flower sculpture to take home

• No prior stained glass experience is necessary; this class welcomes all skill levels and is ideal for anyone new to working with glass and soldering
