Big stories. Big imaginations.
Kids bring the ideas — we hand them the camera and a job on the crew.
It’s loud, it’s funny, and by day two the shy ones are directing. They walk away with a real movie and their name in the credits.
Real cameras, lights, costumes, the works — no experience needed.
One week. A real film.
Five days of writing, shooting, acting and editing — every camper hands-on with the cameras and lights from start to finish. They walk away with a film they can be proud of.
Write the script
- Every camper helps build the story from scratch — characters, plot, dialogue. Real screenwriting.
Shoot the film
- Campers rotate through every role: director, camera, sound, actor, set design. Everyone gets time behind the lens.
Edit & add music
- Teams cut their footage, add music and sound effects, and finish the film like real post-production.
Festival Night
- The annual Film Camp Film Festival, one in every city. Families in, lights down. Every film plays, every camper credited.
Guest Speakers
- Working professionals drop in through the week — stunt coordinators, casting directors, editors.
Lasting Memory
- Every camper leaves with access to their film posted on YouTube for their families and friends to watch at anytime.
A typical day on set

10.00am - Story room
- Campers build the scene: what happens, who says what, what it looks like.
11.30am - On set
- Lights up. Everyone rotates through camera, sound, directing and performing.
1.00pm - Lunch & screening
- Eat, then watch the morning’s footage together.
2.00pm - Post & wrap
- Edit, add music and sound, then pack the set down together.
The finished film
- A professionally edited, finished film they can be proud of, with their name in the credits.
- A annual screening with families, credits and applause.
- Background-checked instructors, small crews, constant supervision.
