Crochet 101: Chunky Cowl

Intro to Crochet
OH MY GOD!!! I have been struggling to crochet for a whole year! Just taking one class and I finally was able to create a project! Definitely will be coming back for more classes! Thank you so much! -
Crochet 101: Chunky Cowl
I had never even picked up a ball of yarn before -- and I have a history of being klutzy and nervous when it comes to this sort of skill. The instructor (Ginny or Jenny; I forgot to get the spelling!) was amazing -- so patient, clear, and good-natured! She anticipated what problems we might be having and tried to help us avoid them; she was very funny and reassuring. I left with about half my cowl done, which, believe me, was more than I expected! I hope to finish it at a later session, when I can count on her wise guidance. And Brooklyn Craft Company is always a fun place to shop and just hang out. I love their offerings -- they always have something fun and new to try. This was a truly enjoyable experience! -

Great instructor. Lisa was patient and used technology to her/our benefit via “two cameras”, and staying engaged. It was nice when other more advanced students joined 30 mins in. They bought inspiration, resourceful info and fun personalities to the mix. -

Embroidery
Great class for those who know absolutely nothing of embroidery! We learned five stitches and the basics of knotting, threading, etc. Soraya is an excellent instructor – generous, patient, and a clear communicator. She made us all starter kits to use and take home, and encouraged us to take thread home to finish our projects. Thanks for a great experience! I'd recommend this course to others–– though perhaps at a different venue. Q.E.D. was too cold and not well lit. -
