Description

Step into the artistic practice of wood carving by creating a sunflower relief panel using traditional chisels and mallet methods under mentorship from renowned instructor Rick Liegl. As a founding member of Colonial Crafts of Connecticut and an accomplished craftsperson, Rick will guide you through design transfer using basic measuring tools and drawing implements. You'll develop and apply traditional carving methods on an oak blank, completing a decorative wall piece to keep.

While prior woodworking knowledge can be beneficial, it is not a requirement. Carving chisels, mallets, and oak wood blanks will be provided for all participants to use during the session.

Refund Policy

Full refunds less a 5% processing fee will be offered for cancellations that occur 32 days or more before a program's registration deadline (if no deadline, the first day of the program).
Cancellations between 31 and 9 days will be offered a 50% refund or credit toward another class.
Cancellations after the registration deadline or within 8 days of the first day of class (whichever comes first) will not be refunded.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
