Description

Learn the basics of sharpening and honing your hand woodworking tools from our staff instructor in this clinic. We will demystify, and help you start to master the essential practice of, tool sharpening. We will cover all of the steps of the sharpening process, including the many different sharpening approaches and tools available, such as stones, sandpaper and glass, diamond sharpeners, low-speed grinders and more; preparing your blade by flattening; honing and regular tool maintenance; and where to source good quality sharpening tools.

All you need to bring is your own chisels, block planes, and other hand tools to get hands-on practice sharpening and honing.

Refund Policy

Full refunds less a 5% processing fee will be offered for cancellations that occur 32 days or more before a program's registration deadline (if no deadline, the first day of the program).
Cancellations between 31 and 9 days will be offered a 50% refund or credit toward another class.
Cancellations after the registration deadline or within 8 days of the first day of class (whichever comes first) will not be refunded.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
