Intro to Felting (One Day Class)
I was impressed with the range of information and practical technique that the class covered. Also loved learning the basic science of felting, i.e., what is happening when the fleece is transformed into a solid fabric. I wish we had just one more day or half day, though. It wasn't until I got home Sunday evening that I realized how many questions I had that our instructor would have been able to answer easily because of her expertise. And I am able to ask those questions as a result of what I learned in the class. It was a great experience. -

Sculpting with Wool: Needle Felting Basics
I had a blast at Frannie's Sculpting with Wool: Needle Felting Basics class. She gave careful instruction and good advice. She was very supportive of each individual's creative idea. I'm thrilled with the little terrier that I made. Enough time was allotted so that everyone had time to complete their project. One suggestion, some of us felt (no pun intended) that it would be a good idea to have a few wool roving sampler packs and carded wool bags for sale. I had to come right home and order from Amazon, but being able to walk home with supplies would have been perfect. -
Felting 101 (4 Week)
A fabulous course! Adrienne was so helpful, patient, encouraging, inspiring. She showed us multiple techniques and we each made 4 different items, like table runners, kindle covers, bowls, bags, and wall hangings. She even helped me do a nuno felted runner when I asked for it, even though she didn't plan on doing any nuno felting. She provided all the materials and the workspace was roomy and comfortable.
