  I truly enjoyed the class. Our instructor Jason B was great. I did receive an email to bring two examples of work that we are interested in but we didn't go over it. The course was more information. My son gave a gift certificate for course horse and when I saw introduction to voice over I was over joyed because I've been told countless times my voice sounds like a recorder. I've been ask countless times if I'm a recording why before AI.

  Darren is a phenomenal teacher. Every professional voice actor I have worked with has sang his praises and it is extremely easy to see why. He goes above and beyond and really knows how to speak to all different types of personalities. I have no idea how he even finds the time to do this because this guy is ALWAYS working! Pay attention when he is working with others in your group because sometimes it's easier to hear exactly what he's talking about when you're not focusing on your own script. I went old school analogue and brought a pen and paper and by the end of the three weeks I had a lot of solid info I used on auditions. Believe it or not, I have been doing extremely well since course. If you think you've finally learned it all, you haven't. Check out Darren you won't regret it!

  Absolutely fantastic! I learned a lot from it, and taking both this and the intro class is one really nice package. Definitely worth the cost. Darren is very positive and uplifting throughout- which is quite contagious! I tend to be very nervous, but he makes the class incredibly welcoming. My only complaint is that there aren't more classes to take haha!

  Absolutely amazing! Darren does a wonderful job encouraging the entire class and has many ways to spin a scene. I learned a lot from this- especially dubbing as I hadn't gotten a chance to try it yet. The classes covered an array of different types of scripts, and he was great at matching scripts to voices as the classes continued. I'm excited to be returning in his advanced course!

  I thought it was good, she gave us good tips . I thought she would've started us off with some warm up exercises first. That would've been good to have in the tool belt especially for beginners and then start with lines. Overall, I enjoyed it.

  The “lecture” portion was packed with information (and didn’t feel like a lecture). The critique section was clear and helpful. Eric’s comments on each person’s reading were specific, but he made sure he mixed encouragement into his suggestions for improvement. Excellent class and good value for my investment.

  This class was absolutely fantastic and more than worth the price! It was fun, engaging, and super helpful. Eric provided a thorough, introductory overview of the audiobook industry and hearing about his own journey as a narrator was extremely beneficial. Getting to narrate my selected passage for the class was super fun and I received very helpful and specific feedback from Eric. It was also a great learning experience to hear other folks in the class narrate their passages and receive feedback. Overall, if you're interested in diving into audiobook narration, I can't recommend this class enough as a starting point!
